Tom Daley says his dad would be proud of his bronze medal

Great Britain's Tom Daley says he wishes his dad could have been there to see him win a bronze medal in the 10m platform diving at the London 2012 Olympics.

Daley said his father Rob, who died in 2011 from cancer, "would have been proud" of his performance after coming through what the 18-year-old described as "the toughest year of my life" in the build-up to the London Games.

The USA's David Boudia took the gold medal, while China's Qiu Bo, the world champion, had to settle for silver.
