Cycling feels benefits of London 2012 Olympic legacy

Six months on from the London Games, cycling is one of several sports which has experienced increased participation, as BBC sports editor David Bond reports.

According to Sport England's latest edition of the Active People survey, there has been a 750,000 increase in the number of people playing sport once a week in the last year.

Athletics and swimming have been popular sports for the public to take up, but others such as rowing, gymnastics and basketball have barely registered an increase.
