GB rowing four challenge 'excites' Andy Triggs Hodge
Olympic Champion Andy Triggs Hodge is "very excited" about moving into the men's four from the pair for the new rowing season, believing it gives him an "opportunity to strengthen a new boat and push himself forward".
Hodge, who won gold in the men's four with Pete Reed, Steve Williams and Tom James at the Beijing games, external, has been selected alongside Reed and Alex Gregory, while the occupant of the final seat is yet to be decided.
British rowing coach Jurgen Grobler admits picking his squad for the season, which culminates at the Olympic Games on Eton Dorney Lake, was "very difficult" but feels he had to use the "best athletes" in order to retain Team GB's Olympic and World titles.
