Boat Race 2014: When Cambridge sank in the Boat Race

Clare Balding talks to Will Dawkins, a member of the 1978 Cambridge Boat Race crew, who famously sank mid-race.

The Cambridge Boat began to take in water around Barnes Bridge, and went down soon after. When Cambridge asked for a rematch, the Oxford president refused.

Oxford defend the title they won in 2013 against Cambridge on the River Thames on Sunday 6 April.
