From church football to Olympic rowing - Games selection 'means the world' to emotional Edwards

Rebecca Edwards says it "means the world" to be selected for the Great Britain rowing squad for the Tokyo Olympics.

Edwards, 27, was named in the 45-strong squad for this summer's Games along with fellow Northern Ireland rowers Rebecca Shorten and Hannah Scott.

"It means a lot to me and I would like to think there are young girls sitting at home thinking 'if she can do it, there is nothing stopping me'. I'm nothing special, I just took my chances and worked hard," Edwards said.
