Steve McNamara defends picking Rangi Chase for England

England coach Steve McNamara defends picking New Zealand-born Rangi Chase for his training squad for the upcoming Four Nations.

The former Bradford Bulls boss says he would be doing England a disservice if he did not pick the 2011 Super League Man of Steel after he made himself available on residency grounds.

McNamara also tells BBC Sport's Chris Latchem that the Super League play-off system is the best way to end a long season and believes it has resulted in a mouth-watering Grand Final on Saturday.
