Salford: Dr Marwan Koukash wants salary cap concession for Reds

Salford City Reds owner Dr Marwan Koukash tells BBC North West Tonight that he wants discussions with the Rugby Football League regarding Super League's salary cap.

Koukash argues that the Reds lost the majority of their better players while battling financial problems during the last two seasons and hopes the RFL will give Salford a special concession to spend slightly more than the other 13 clubs in 2014.

He is also hopeful of a fruitful partnership with new head coach Brian Noble, which he believes will deliver the success he promised when completing his takeover in January.
