Rugby League World Cup: Cook Islands beat Wales
The Cook Islands resist a strong second-half fightback to beat Wales 28-24 and seal their first win at the Rugby League World Cup.
Wales trailed by 12 points at the break but responded with tries from Rob Massam, Lloyd White, Christiaan Roets and Rhodri Lloyd to ensure a tense finish at The Gnoll in Neath.
The defeat leaves Wales at the bottom of the Group D table, with the USA progressing into the last eight.
