International Series 2015: England revel in New Zealand series win
England players Matty Smith, Sean O'Loughlin and Elliott Whitehead and coach Steve McNamara react after winning a thrilling decisive Test 20-14 in Wigan to secure a 2-1 series victory over New Zealand.
England took an 8-0 lead with Gareth Widdop's penalty and a converted Elliott Whitehead try, but Jason Nightingale superbly touched down in the corner for the tourists before the break.
NRL-bound Whitehead burst through to score his second and skipper Sean O'Loughlin touched down under the posts for England's third, but the Kiwis finished strongly with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Jordan Kahu scoring late on.
The win ends a long wait for success, with Great Britain's 3-0 victory over the Kiwis in 2007 their last triumph against either New Zealand or world champions Australia.
