Stevie Ward: Concussion protocols need 'strong look' says retiring Leeds back-rower

Rugby league's concussion protocols need a "strong look" over, says former Leeds Rhinos back-rower Stevie Ward, after head injury issues forced him to retire.

The 27-year-old has had to quit because of ongoing health issues, and told BBC Look North's Tanya Arnold a balance must be struck between keeping it a tough sport and protecting the "fragility" of players.
