Ruan Pienaar happy with decision to stay at Ulster
Ulster scrum-half Ruan Pienaar says the ambition of the Ravenhill club was key to him signing a new three-year deal and turning down an offer to play in France.
The South African was linked with a move to French club Toulon and he admitted it was a difficult decision to stay in Belfast.
It is a major boost for Ulster ahead of their opening Heineken Cup game against Leicester Tigers on Friday night.
