Cornish Pirates: Ian Davies rallies players for London Scottish test

Cornish Pirates head coach Ian Davies says Saturday's clash with London Scottish is a game his side need to win if they are to have realistic ambitions of making the end-of-season play-offs.

Davies believes this year's Championship is the best since the league was formed in 2009 and the Pirates are sixth in the table, one place and two points behind the Exiles, with only the top four sides progressing.

"If we want to be in the mix for the play-offs we've got to beat London Scottish because they're rivals for that fourth spot," he told BBC Radio Cornwall.
