Six Nations 2014: Coach Joe Schmidt lauds champions Ireland
Coach Joe Schmidt says he is delighted for Brian O'Driscoll and all the Ireland players after the team clinched the Six Nations title by holding on to beat France 22-20 in Paris.
"Brian's the prince and he got the fairytale tonight," said a "knackered" Ireland coach.
Ulster wing Andrew Trimble described the victory in Paris as the "highest point of my career".
"The hard work has paid off and it means so much," added Trimble, who scored one of Ireland's three tries in a superb performance.
