Renowned for his assertive style when handling players Welshman Nigel Owens is preparing to referee the 2015 Rugby World Cup final between New Zealand and Australia on Saturday, 31 October at Twickenham.

But what is his life like on the road? In 2014, Owens filmed a video diary of his travels whilst going to referee matches for the Rugby Championship in South Africa and Argentina.

A journey that included several thousand miles and three continents, his film gives an insight into the life of a top-level rugby referee.
