Matt Hampson: Injury has made me a better person
Former England junior international and Leicester Tigers prop Matt Hampson tells BBC East Midlands Today how the injury that left him paralysed from the neck down 10 years ago has made him a better person.
While injury cut his career short, he has gone on to set up the Matt Hampson Foundation, a charity which helps young people whose lives have been dramatically changed by sporting accidents.
Hampson, now 30, who Rwandan refugee Harve Iradukunda considers a "life saver", played alongside England flanker James Haskell at Under-21 level.
