Warren Gatland praises 'outstanding' Tipuric performance for Wales

Wales coach Warren Gatland said that Justin Tipuric's man-of-the match display in the 16-10 warm-up win in Ireland on Saturday was the flanker's best performance for his country.

The Ospreys open-side impressed in the seven shirt in the absence of captain Sam Warburton, who sat out the win in Dublin with a minor shoulder problem.

Tipuric's try-scoring display is likely to earn the 26-year-old a place in the final 31-man squad for the World Cup, which Gatland will announce at 12:00 BST on Monday, 31 August.
