Captaincy 'a massive honour' - Ulster hooker Rob Herring
Ulster hooker Rob Herring says being named the temporary captain of Ulster in the absence of fellow number two Rory Best is "a massive honour".
Herring will assume the role while Best is at the Rugby World Cup with Ireland and says he intends to "lead from the front".
"Hopefully I can get the guys behind me and we can start winning a few games," said Herring.
"I will have to be a bit more vocal and make more decisions on the pitch than I am used to. It's something I am trying to embrace."
Ulster will begin their Pro12 campaign with a home game against the Ospreys at Kingspan Stadium on Friday night.
