Rugby referee Nigel Owens was surprised by an accolade at the Wales Sport Awards, presented by BBC Wales' Dot Davies.

The 2015 World Cup final official took home a special recognition memento at the ceremony in Cardiff.

Owens went on to present Dan Biggar with the 2015 BBC Cymru Wales Sports Personality of the Year award.
