Frank McGlynn looks forward to Football League challenge

Donegal's Frank McGlynn says he and his team-mates are looking forward to "pitting their wits" against the top teams in the country in this year's Football League Division One campaign.

"The team that wins the National League always seems to carry their form into the provincial and All-Ireland Championships," observed McGlynn, whose side begin their campaign against Down at Newry on Saturday night.

McGlynn also welcomed the return to the squad of midfielder Rory Kavanagh.

"Rory is a fantastic player and a fantastic leader in the dressing room. He is someone everyone can look up to, especially the younger players."
