Ulster director of rugby Les Kiss left frustrated by new laws after Scarlets defeat

Ulster's director of rugby Les Kiss refuses to blame referee Marius Mitrea after his team's 16-13 defeat by the Scarlets in Friday evening's crucial Pro12 game in Wales.

Apparently applying a new directive from World Rugby, Italian referee Mitrea awarded a controversial second-half penalty try for the Scarlets after adjudging that Ulster flanker Sean Reidy had produced a high tackle on Aled Davies.

"Marius is only doing what we're all reacting to. It's not Marius' fault. It's the way things are moving. We have to learn to live with it," added Kiss, after a defeat which saw Ulster dropping seven points off the top-four play-off positions.
