Blade Thomson: Scarlets back-rower played after death of someone 'very close'

Scarlets coach Wayne Pivac has revealed back-rower Blade Thomson played against Ospreys after hearing of the death of someone "very, very close to him".

Thomson was visibly emotional immediately following the win at Parc y Scarlets, where he had just completed a crucial tackle on Ospreys and Wales lock Alun Wyn Jones.
