European Challenge Cup: Dragons will 'gamble' on selection against Bristol

Dragons director of rugby Dean Ryan says is ready to take a "gamble" with his team selection for Friday's Challenge Cup quarter-final away against Bristol Bears.

Ryan has a full-strength squad to choose from, so that could mean he hands first appearances to the Dragons' two new Wales international signings, centre Jamie Roberts and outside back Jonah Holmes.

Although neither player has played any rugby since the sport resumed from its coronavirus-enforced break, Ryan says he does not want to be "caught wondering" after the Dragons' encounter with their big-spending English Premiership opponents.
