Adam Beard: British and Irish Lions debut 'massive honour' for Wales lock

Wales lock Adam Beard says making his British and Irish Lions debut on Wednesday will be a "massive honour".

Beard and back row Josh Navidi will make their first appearances of the South Africa tour against Sharks in Johannesburg after being called up as replacements for injured countrymen Alun Wyn Jones and Justin Tipuric.

Having been left out of Wales' Autumn Nations Cup squad last year, the Ospreys player reflects on a transformational past nine months, winning the 2021 Six Nations title and now set to play for the Lions.
