Former WRU chief executive agrees with three-team proposal
Former Welsh Rugby Union chief executive David Moffett says regional rugby has not worked and says Wales would be better off with just three club sides.
Moffett, who was in charge when regional rugby was introduced 20 years ago, says the concept has failed with the Welsh game now “a laughing stock of world rugby".
