'He's the best scrum-half in Ireland' - could Cooney play for Scotland?
Former Ireland international Tommy Bowe says a report in the Scottish Daily Mail, external suggesting scrum-half John Cooney is considering switching international allegiance to Scotland is a "bit of a concern".
Cooney, who has won 11 Ireland caps, could be eligible for Scotland next year given he qualifies through his father.
He won his last Irish cap against England in February 2020.
