Tom Pearson: Northampton flanker on farming, East Midlands rivalry and Six Nations hopes
Northampton Saints flanker Tom Pearson says losing his job after London Irish filed for administration last summer was a "frightening time".
He quickly signed for Saints and won his first England cap in August against Wales in the World Cup warm-up matches.
Pearson missed out on selection for the Rugby World Cup, but is now set for his first taste of the East Midlands derby when Northampton travel to Leicester on Saturday.
"The Six Nations is the next goal for me," he said. "I have to be on my game. East Midlands derbies are the perfect opportunity to show what you're made of."
