George Furbank says Northampton Saints captaincy has given him 'renewed energy'

Northampton Saints full-back George Furbank says captaincy has given him renewed spark and energy as he targets a Six Nations place with England.

Furbank has recently become club captain at Saints, replacing the injured Lewis Ludlum.

"I've loved it," he said. "My energy drives the team's energy and I'm definitely enjoying that part at the moment," he said.

Furbank, who made his international debut in 2020, is hoping for an England recall for the Six Nations, which starts next month.
