Louis Rees-Zammit move 'a bit of a rollercoaster' - Wales boss Warren Gatland
Wales head coach Warren Gatland has wished Louis Rees-Zammit all the best after the star wing announced he was quitting rugby in a bid to play in the NFL.
Gatland says he learned about the player's move shortly before announcing the Wales squad for the 2024 Six Nations.
Rees-Zammit has left rugby with immediate effect to join the NFL’s International Player Pathway programme in pursuit of earning a spot on an NFL roster for 2024.
