Gregor Townsend needs Glasgow Warriors to be at best

Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend says that his side will need to be 'close to their best' to retain the 1872 Cup, the traditional double-header between the two sides, but it's as much about winning valuable Pro 12 league points.

The former Scotland international added that he could understand the notion that Edinburgh have the momentum after recent results and that it would be a great spectacle.
