Masters: Barry Hawkins misses re-spotted black

Barry Hawkins makes a hash of the re-spotted black on his way to a 6-5 defeat in his first-round match with Ricky Walden at the UK Masters.

Needing the frame to seal victory, Hawkins instead handed Walden the chance to pull the score back to 5-4 and the Chester-based player went on to win their best-of-11 match.

Four-times Masters winner Ronnie O'Sullivan - who beat Robert Milkins 6-1 in his first match - will play Walden in the quarter-final.
