World Snooker Championship: Ronnie O'Sullivan backs wildcards

Reigning world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan gives his backing to wildcard tour entries for legends of the sport such as Stephen Hendry, Steve Davis and Jimmy White.

World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn has suggested that the players may be offered a tour wildcard after six-time world champion Davis failed to qualify for this year's World Championship.

O'Sullivan progressed to the World Snooker Championship second round with a 10-4 victory over Finland's Robin Hull.
