World Snooker Championship: Steve Davis sinks black 30 years on

Six-time snooker world champion Steve Davis manages to sink the black that he missed 30 years ago in his famous final with Dennis Taylor.

In 1985 after an epic tussle the scores were level at 17-17 frame all with Davis needing to cut a black into the bottom right corner to take the title.

He missed and the rest is history as Taylor clinched victory in front of over 18 million viewers watching at home.

BBC Sport will bring you live coverage of the 2015 World Snooker Championship from Saturday, 18 April across BBC TV, Red Button, connected TVs, online, tablets and smartphones.
