Cristiano Ronaldo's message for Sir Alex Ferguson at Sports Personality

Former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo pays tribute to his old manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who received the BBC Sports Personality Diamond Award.

Ronaldo, who now plays for Real Madrid, says Ferguson was like a "father" to him when he joined the Old Trafford club at the age of 18.

Speaking about his arrival at Old Trafford, Ronaldo says Ferguson told him to take the revered number seven shirt because he was going to "deserve" it.
