Ruta Meilutyte breaks 100m breaststroke world record

Lithuanian 16-year-old Ruta Meilutyte breaks the 100m breaststroke world record at the World Championships in Barcelona.

The reigning Olympic champion, who trains in Plymouth, won her semi-final in a time of one minute 04.30 seconds and will try to add a World Championships medal to her gold from London 2012 on Tuesday.

Her time was 0.15 secs faster than the previous best time set by Jessica Hardy in 2009.
