USA's Katie Ledecky sets a new world record of 15 minutes 25.48 seconds for the 1500m freestyle at the World Swimming Championships in Russia.

The 18-year-old beat the previous record by over two seconds and finished nearly 16 seconds ahead of second-placed Lauren Boyle of New Zealand.
