Aaron Cook seeks taekwondo world title after Olympic snub

European champion Aaron Cook hopes to erase memories of his controversial exclusion from the London Olympic squad by claiming a maiden world title.

Cook, 22, is now competing for the Isle of Man and tells BBC Sport's Nick Hope the move has given him a "fresh start" after a traumatic year during which he "lost everything", including his Olympic dream and more than £100,000 by appealing his Team GB snub.

The Dorset-born fighter will compete in the -80kg division at the World Taekwondo Championships in Puebla, Mexico, on Sunday.
