Andy Murray 'closer' to Novak Djokovic after semi-final defeat

Britain's Andy Murray believes he can rival Novak Djokovic at future Grand Slams, after missing out on a place in the Australian Open final.

The Scot says he has "closed the gap" on Djokovic and is pleased he took the Serb to five sets, losing 6-3 3-6 6-7 (4-7) 6-1 7-5.

Djokovic plays Rafael Nadal in Sunday's final at 0830 GMT.
