US Open: Andy Murray says he 'needs to improve' to win tournament

Britain's Andy Murray admits he "needs to improve" if he wants to win the US Open despite beating Alex Bogomolov Jr in straight sets at Flushing Meadows on Monday.

The world number four struggled at times but eventually overcame the Russian 6-2 6-4 6-1 to set up a second-round clash against Croatia's Ivan Dodig.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live afterwards Murray also says he gets asked about his Olympic gold medal from fellow players and fans "every day".
