Laura Robson delights in beating 'role model' Kim Clijsters
Britain's Laura Robson is delighted to beat Kim Clijsters to progress into the third round of the US Open, but admits it is sad to see her "role model" bow out of tennis.
Olympic silver medallist Robson stunned the former world number one, who was competing in her final singles event before retirement, 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-5).
Robson, who faces China's Li Na in the next round, says she will seek advice from fellow Briton Heather Watson, who was beaten by Na in the opening round.
