Andy Roddick says emotional goodbye after US Open loss
An emotional Andy Roddick says goodbye to his fans as he retires from tennis after his four-set defeat by Juan Martin del Potro in the fourth round of the US Open.
Roddick, who played his final match on Arthur Ashe Stadium, the court where he won his only major title in 2003, jokes that he hopes everyone remembers him for being "awesome".
The American tells the fans "I love you guys with all my heart" and that it was a privilege to play professional tennis.
