Federer "thrilled" to qualify for the semi-finals

Roger Federer says he is "thrilled and relieved" to qualify for the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour Finals at London's O2 Arena after beating David Ferrer.

Federer, who now has a 14-0 record over Ferrer, commends the skill and sportsmanship of the Spaniard following the 6-4 7-6 (7-5) victory, describing him as "a great guy and a great player".

Federer says that despite having already qualified, he will still try his very best to win his next round robin match against Juan Martin del Potro on Saturday.
