Queen's: Dan Evans wins despite nasty fall, James Ward goes out
Britain's Dan Evans wins his first-round match at Queen's 6-3 6-1 against Argentina's Guido Pella, a player ranked 202 places above him.
The Birmingham-based wildcard recovered from a heavy fall early in the match to secure the impressive straight-sets win.
Later, fellow Davis Cup player James Ward had match points against Croatia's Ivan Dodig but could not convert them, eventually losing 6-7 (8-10) 7-6 (7-2) 7-6 (7-2).
