Australian Open 2014: Heather Watson positive despite first round defeat
Great Britain's Heather Watson is disappointed to have lost in the first round of the Australian Open, but pleased with the way she played against Daniela Hantuchova.
Watson kept the 31st seed occupied for two hours and 34 minutes before going down 7-5 3-6 6-3 to the Slovakian in Melbourne.
Having missed a lot of action in 2013 with glandular fever, Watson remains positive of her chances for the coming year and is sure her ranking will rise again.
