Elena Baltacha: BBC Sport looks back at Baltacha's career

BBC Sports looks back on the career of former British number one Elena Baltacha, who has died of liver cancer, aged 30.

The Scot, who retired from the sport in 2013, revealed she had revealed she had the illness in March.

At 19 she was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis,, external a chronic liver condition which compromises the immune system.

Despite her illness and multiple injury problems, she reached the Australian Open third round in 2005 and 2010 and reached a career-high world ranking of 49.
