Rio 2016: Lynn Davies wins Wales' last track and field Olympic gold medal at Tokyo 1964

As the countdown for the 2016 Rio Olympics starts, we recall Lynn "The Leap" Davies winning the last Welsh track and field gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 1964.

Long jump great Davies - the underdog on the day - jumped 8.07 metres in wet and windy conditions to beat American defending champion Ralph Boston and USSR's Igor Ter-Ovanesyan.

The miner's son from Nantymoel remains the only Welsh athlete to win an individual Olympic gold medal and Davies joined Sport Wales to look back at the historic moment.
