Elite League highlights: Cardiff Devils 7-2 Nottingham Panthers

Cardiff Devils thrashed Nottingham Panthers 7-2 at the Big Blue Tent on Sunday evening to finish their regular Elite Ice Hockey League season on a high.

There were seven different scorers for the home side as Matthew Myers, Carl Hudson, Joey Haddad, Brent Walton, Doug Clarkson, Andrew Hotham and Jake Morissette all found the back of the net.

The Devils, beaten 2-1 by Sheffield Steelers on Saturday, now turn their attention to the play-off quarter-final first leg at Belfast Giants on Friday, 27 March, with the return tie to be played in Cardiff two days later.
