Lizzy Yarnold wins skeleton gold at World Cup in Winterberg

Britain's skeleton racer Lizzy Yarnold takes her third World Cup win of the season with a gold medal at Winterberg, Germany.

Yarnold was tied with American Noelle Pikus-Pace after the first run, but a clean second run saw her win by more than half a second.

She has finished on the podium in all five World Cup races this season, and is a strong medal contender for next month's Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Highlights of the skeleton World Cup will be shown on the BBC red button and BBC Sport website at 17:45 GMT on Sunday 5 January.
