Slider hits broom on Skeleton track at European Championship in Igls
Canada's Jane Channell encounters an unexpected obstacle during her first run in the Skeleton European Championship in Igls.
Officials were sweeping the track at regular intervals due to the snowy conditions, but during the opening heat Channell collided with a brush which had been left behind.
Channell was unhurt in the incident and was allowed a second run, where she clocked a slower time and eventually finished eleventh.
