Dave Ryding on career-best form and Olympic controversy

Dave Ryding believes controversially stripping Alain Baxter of his 2002 Olympic bronze medal resulted in over a decade of funding struggles for GB alpine skiers.

The 29-year-old, who is in career-best form after securing two top-15 World Cup results this season, tells BBC Sport's Nick Hope that the GB programme is now heading in the right direction.

Ryding also says he feels they can convince UK Sport to invest in alpine skiers before the next Winter Olympisc, where he's targeting a "special" top-10 finish.
