Ulster trio prepare for Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria in New Year

Markethill man Cyril Walker, Aghagallon 12-year-old Caolan McConville and Carryduff teenager Sean McCartan are preparing to represent Ireland at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in the New Year.

Cyril, 46, is optimistic of clinching a gold in Austria after earning a bronze at a previous Games in Japan.

Caolan is looking forward to skiing on real snow for the first time and training on the artificial slope at Craigavon's Ski Centre while Sean, 16, is also ready for his challenge in Alps.
